The Thomas A. Hieronymus Distinguished Professorship recognizes an applied economist who has achieved a distinguished career as an educator, researcher, and counselor in futures and speculative markets. Established with funds provided from private gifts, the Professorship honors Professor Emeritus Thomas A. Hieronymus, an internationally recognized scholar and University of Illinois graduate and faculty member.
The Director of OFOR holds the Thomas A. Hieronymus Distinguished Professorship. Currently the Director of OFOR is Professor Raymond M. Leuthold.
