*In choosing electives, consider:
- Total hours required for degree is 126.
- This includes a minimum of 35 hours in ACES, of which a minimum of 20 (excluding ACE 161 and 261) must be in ACE. ACES requirement is satisfied by courses with the following rubrics: ABE, ACE, ACES, AGCM, AGED, ANSC, CPSC, FSHN, HCD, HDFS, HORT, NRES, NUTR, PLPA, RSOC, OR TSM.
- You are required to complete at least 21 hours at the 300- and 400- level on the UIUC campus and at least two (2) 400-level ACE classes.
A minimum of 15 hours of Major/Concentration courses must be completed on the UIUC campus. Note: Any ACES courses taken to satisfy general education requirements can be counted towards total ACES hours.
1This is merely a sample schedule. It is not the only schedule by which classes may be taken.
2An acceptable substitute for RHET/CMN101 is CMN 111/112.
3Other acceptable Math sequences are (Math 125 and Math 234) OR (Math 220 and Math 231).
4In some cases, a course that fulfills either of the cultural studies requirements (CW or CNW) can also be used to fulfill a social/behavioral science or humanities requirement.
5Choose from ACE 435, 436, 451, 452, 453, 454 or 455 or ECON 422 or 451. This requirement may also be satisfied by studying abroad for one semester (at least 12 credit hours) in an approved international experience.
ACE 435 (Accy 231; BADM 320 or ACE 222)
ACE 436 (Consent of instructor)
ACE 451, 452, 453, 454, 455 (Econ 302)
